Waratah Hills is a small, family-run vineyard, situated at the gateway to Victoria’s famed Wilson’s Promontory, the southernmost tip of the Australian mainland. Vines, first established in the mid 90’s, are tightly planted, trellising style, reminiscent of Burgundy. The vineyard focuses on chardonnay and pinot noir. South Gipplsland’s cool, maritime climate, is widely acknowledged as one of the best pinot noir producing areas in Australia.
The cellar door and restaurant occupy a former tractor shed, with seasonal, local produce platters, often from the property’s kitchen garden.
