Picnic White 2019

An easy drinking vino blanco with universal appeal.

For this year’s Picnic White, we chose sauvignon blanc grapes from our friends in the Yarra Valley. Though you wouldn’t quite pick it for a savvy b. Finished in a ‘sancerre’ style, this year’s Picnic White is the perfect companion for barefoot afternoons with fish and chips or cheeseboards.

Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow appearance with an expressive nose. Green apples, zesty lime, guava and kiwi fruit drive the aromas. The palate is racy, refreshing and dry. The fruity flavours on the nose gain a mineral edge and enhance the savoury appeal. A wine with everyday appeal.

Serve: At home, in the park, at the beach, on a picnic rug with delicious seafood, soft cheeses, and white pastas.
